The Problem with Problems
In mathematics, problems are opportunities.
Read MoreWe want every student to feel confident in their RSM class, no matter when they start our program. To help new students get up to speed, we invite all mid-year enrolled students to participate in sessions to catch up on material that they have missed.
During these sessions, a dedicated RSM staff member will guide new students through key concepts and lessons their class learned earlier that year. The materials are created by RSM’s curriculum department and allow new students to review the most important topics from each lesson. Once the student has mastered the essential topics, they’ll seamlessly transition into their regular class, fully prepared to join their peers.
New students will be instructed by RSM teachers, current RSM students, or RSM alumni, all of whom have been trained so their teaching methods will easily align with the way that RSM teachers provide instruction. These sessions are held either once or twice a week until the student is caught up enough to join their class.
There's no wrong time to begin your child's math education and we will ensure a smooth transition into the program. For more details on the catch up process and how we can support your child's unique needs, please schedule a free math evaluation at your local RSM branch. During the evaluation, you can discuss with the principal about the plan for your child’s tutoring and how many sessions they will need. Our evaluations are the best way to learn more about our program and determine your child's needs.
