Rimma earned her Ph.D. in Biomedial Informatics at Columbia, and now enables hospitals to improve their performance.
Rimma is part of the Emergency Medicine department at Hackensack University Medical Center where she enables the use of data science and informatics to provide clarity in complex decision making and drive performance improvement. Additionally, Rimma works to establish and grow a robust biomedical informatics research infrastructure within the department. Rimma is also a faculty member in Columbia's Department of Biomedical Informatics where she designs and teaches a class entitled "Defining, Evaluating, and Improving Quality in Healthcare”.
Rimma resides outside of New York City with her husband and children.
